Dining Chair Makeover: Simple white linen slipcovers & seat cushions
Though elegant & simple, the construction process for these chairs was anything but! A client of ours brought in a set of dining chairs, both with arms and without, and wanted to achieve the following:
Create custom seat cushions for the chairs to make them more comfortable, but integrate the cushion into the slipcover instead of creating a separate piece.
Highlight the arch detail at the back of the chair while still showing off the beautiful, original wood.
We had to get creative with hidden velcro closures to accommodate the legs, posts, and arms. Each new piece is like a puzzle and that’s what keeps things interesting!
