If you’re looking to have a new custom bench cushion made from scratch the insert will be made from our standard foam - a medium-firm foam with a dacron wrap for fullness.

Edge Finish Examples and Definitions

  • Knife Edge Finish

    Plain seam, no added finishings.

  • Self-Welt Finish

    Welting made of the same fabric as the body of the cushion.

  • Contrast Welt Finish

    Welting made out of a different fabric than the body of the cushion.

  • Self-Flange Finish

    Self-Flange Finish

    French flange made out of the same fabric as the body of the cushion.

  • Contrast Flange Finish

    French flange detail made of a different fabric than the body of the cushion.

  • Pre-Made Trim

    A pre-made cording or trim is added to the seams.
